SCS develops and produces hydrogel carrier systems containing cosmetic ingredients in low tack refreshing and hydrating bioadhesive gels.

The hydrogel systems are based on natural proteins, poly- and bisaccharides, synthetic water absorbers, moisturisers and natural or synthetic adhesives.

Numerous variations concerning layer thickness, shape and properties of such hydrogels can be realised.

A large variety of active ingredients (watersolubles as well as a certain amount of lipophilic actives) can be incorporated. Thus hydrogel technology offers a wide range of cosmetic applications for:

refreshing, anti-puffiness, after sun, cooling, wellness and aroma products.
